About The way the trains followed the tracks in the center of the city allowed for only a few seconds of sunlight to shoot directly into the train compartments. Then the train would slightly turn again and the sunlight would be gone. I found the right spot for this and shot dozens and dozens of train compartments full of people as they went by. I recieved some interesting looks - this is one of my favorites. An attractive Arabic woman that seems to be both amused and posing at the same time. I love her expression. Who is she? What's her story? I'll never know. But that's the nature of travel or street Photography. You share a very short, intense moment with a stranger and then it's over forever - even though the image may live with you the rest of your life. I have many images like that with the people in them never realizing how important they are to me. No PS used except for slight crop.

This is wonderful..your about reminds me of a 'very short intense moment' I shared with some beautiful stranger in Italy..no camera was involved...we were at a stop light in Rome..I was on one bus..he on another.. we made eye contact and held it till our busses went in seperate directions..it was like something out of a movie..Great shot Mark..I havn't thought about that moment in years..thanks.

...and what a NICE crop it is, Mark! The windows are very nicely balanced by the writing.

It sounds like it was fun.

Although I like your work and style but this image goes to my favorite,, it has a great story, in our life people comes and go, some of them stay for a while and some just like a mirage, yes they stop in your station and suddenly leave for ever...It is sad but we should except it part of our sophisticated global system which we programmed by the others. Outstanding image and just in time ,,very very touching one. Thanks for sharing it. Regards. Saeed
