About Heckscher Farm

The Heckscher Farm is a living resource for learning. Here school children and families make personal connections to a not-so-distant past when farming was a major way of life in the region.
Through observation, exploration, and participation, visitors can immerse themselves in the experiences of farming. They will understand our dependence on the natural environment to produce food and products that we need to survive and thrive.

A late afternoon shot, for the fun of it just upped the saturation levels in PS to bring out the colors.

Bumping up the saturation like that really brought out some interesting hues - especially in the barn and silo! The green top really stands out - almost more like glass lit from withing. It also added a lot of 'noise', but it looks kind of cool here!

I like the effect. I think you wouldn't even notice it except for those couple bright spots on the roofs, and they add a spot of interest in an otherwise drab area. Nice idea, nicely done.

Beautiful sight! The colors are rich and vivid. The silhouettes are sharp. Good work

Beautiful angle! A little TOO saturated for my taste , but a great shot anyway!

Alison... love this barn. I love the contrasting colors and that green... really a great barn to photograph.
