as far as prints. I have used American camera, and wolf. was not too happy with wolf and there is a nother one on Poplar called Memphis Camera I think. I save mine in Tiff mode and it gives it the best details. I am supposed to do a photo show when i get time at a coffee shop called Cafe Francisco it is near the pyramid, but it will be when school is out,, my nerves are on edge lol. I have the Nikon D70 a good camera but you need lens too, ALso the new canons are supposed to be good. I have the Sony 717 as well. You do az good job with your camera but as you say printing large prints you need a bigger camera

Thanks! Also, I am definitely in need of a "quality" camera - this one does great snapshots and really is better than I had thought, but if I want to get more serious into photography then I know I need more megapixels so I can get larger prints. I'm going to start researching for one this week...Steven, do you use Wolf, somewhere locally or online? I think my husband used to use America Camera on Poplar, I've tried Wolf in Germantown but that was before I got my digital. I'd be interested in a good local place that could do nice prints if I were ever into selling them. Thanks again for your advice on photos in my portfolio.

Love the motion of the car and the lighting. I know this place well as i belong to the Peabody Health club and see this view every day, I likek the depth of the photo too, I agree with the suggestion of the tripod. but You did a fine job and on all your pics with the digital you have.

Andrea, a very pleasing composition, with lovely bright colours and nice motion. I really like the motion of the car especially and the diagonals of the buildings. A very dramatic and well balanced shot.
PS Thanks for your comments on my photo.

Interesting catching dear Andrea. moving car is so nice as an experimental work by the low shutter speed. hope to find mire shots from you.take care:kiarang.

Andrea, I really like the idea here. I think you should try something similar using a tripod, that way everything except what is in motion will be crystal clear! Cool idea!
