I like your use of perspective in this image. The compostion is very rich with many characters and elements. I am a bit bias here, because I like Italy so much and associate it with warmth, but I would prefer if you would have used warmer tones in the overall image. The lamp in the background is a bit too "cold" or greenish, a warmer tone may have been more consistent with the light in the foreground, IMHO. again, it's a wonderful and very rich image, excellent eye! -- Kind Regards, Rafael

Hi Thilo,
Great Street scene. Your work always has such a rich dark feel to it. I was very impressed with your landscape of the Olympic stadium a couple of months back and have since been trying a similar technique to the one you described to Fadel J. When you have a minute please visit my photo "Cedars & Ice" I would appreciate your comments. The method I used was probably not exactly the same as you do, but I really liked the results.

What I like most of this picture is the perspective and the lighting... It seems to be a crowded night in Venice... You just made me want to be there... Great colors..
Consuming work??? Why does it sound so familiar??? Hope you get a slow pace soon... I am almost there... Two more weeks of hard work...
