About Yesterday afternoon our younger son was involved in a head-on collision on his way to meeting up with his girlfriend?s family. At the time it happened Carole and I were just a few miles short of Land?s End, some 190 miles away!! The police found Jon?s mobile in his car and tried to ring us, but we had no signal! So they rang his girlfriend, whose family was just a few miles away from the incident. By the time they got there, three ambulances, police cars, fire brigade and air ambulance were in attendance. Miraculously there were no fatalities!! In fact, Jonathan climbed out of his car with only cuts and bruises!! The first three people on the scene, straight after the crash, had been a nurse, a doctor and an off-duty policeman!!

Eventually we were contacted and we drove straight to the hospital. The drive up was very worrying as all we knew was that he?d been involved in a serious crash and was ?okay?. Jon?s very shaken and is being kept in hospital for another night for observation ~ but the main thing is, he?s alive and remarkably well!! And, as far as we know, the other people involved in the accident have only minor injuries!! The sense of relief is incredible!!

However, this does mean that I?m going to be away from Usefilm for another day or so, at least. My apologies for not commenting on your latest uploads, but I know you?ll understand why!!!!! I?ve been amazed by the response to my mist pictures! Thank you so much for your kind comments!

Best regards to all,

Chris

Many thanks for your kind comments, Jayson!
The truth it, this coming Monday, (over a year later!!), our son has to appear in court as a result of that crash. He faces a charge of which I believe him to be entirely innocent. It's going to be a tough week!
Best regards, Chris

Praise the Lord that he is ok! I like this pic, reminds me of "If that is how God clothes the lillies of field that are here today and tomorrow are thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you?" Good job keep up the good work.

Chris. What a terrible phone call to get and what an awful drive to the hospital that must have been. Thank Goodness that everyone is doing okay. That sounds pretty incredible from the sounds of the severity of the accident. We'll be glad to hear from you when you are back on UF and hope the news is all good. My thoughts and prayers to and the other families.

Chris, this is a clear case of "Before you call I will answer you!" We all know who cared for your son--and his mother and father. All praise to Him! I trust that in time John will know exactly WHY his life was spared. There IS a reason, for sure.

Chris,
What a most traumatic time that must have been, to be that far away and receive so little information. I hope that ALL who are involved, that is your son, his girlfriend, you and Carole and the other victims and their families can come out of this dreadful experience without any long lasting scars.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you all.

Chris, first let me say what a nice image of these water lilies.
We can never begin to understand the workings of all there is and all that happens, but to those who believe the answer is nothing more than the roll of a dice, I think they live in true blindness. Your relation of this event and the details are clearly miraculous. Two of my sons owe their life to intervening actions that still leave me misty eyed to think about now. So glad to hear your son was watched over.

Randy

Someone's gardian angel was working overtime!!!Praise the Lord. I'm at work today where we considered flying out two of the patients from an MVA,I believe they'll both be ok. But all of this goes to show you that we must be thankful for every moment we have, and we must never take each other for granted. Take care of your family Chris, I'll keep you all in my prayers. God Bless.... Dottie

Crikey, I'm glad everything seems to have worked out reasonably well! I can't imagine anything more harrowing for a parent than having to drive 190 miles not being totally sure how their child is following a major road accident. I hope Jon and yourselves aren't too badly affected.
