About Overwhelmed by your kindness?

Overwhelmed with relief?

Overwhelmed with gratitude!!

I'm so happy to be able to tell you that our son is back at home, having been released from the hospital this afternoon. He's a bit battered and bruised, but is remarkably well considering the wreck he climbed out of!

Thank you so much for all your good wishes ~ they are so very greatly appreciated by us all!!

My best regards,

Chris

P.S. See the comments section for a picture of the car!

Is that areal helecopter or photoshopped in?

makes a nice focal point, but the strength of the sky and strong yellow foreground are very impressive anyway!

Welcome back and glad to hear things are getting back to normal. That crash looked horrendous!

Oh my god the car looks terrible !!!! only a miracle and gods care helped jon out of there! my fiancé had a horrible car accident about 4 years ago, he was in Malaysia and it was raining a foggy he ran into a huge truck that carries whole trees ?don?t know the name of it- and came out with a broken arm only! It took them 3 hours to get him out of the metal!
Chris the image is wonderful!
The sunny yellow fields express your joy and gladness

Hi Den,

Thanks for your kind comment. Fortunately Jon's girlfriend wasn't with him when the crash happened ~ Jon was on his way to meet her and her family at the time. Better still, she's a trainee nurse, (and her mum's a nurse), so Jon's getting well looked after now that he's back at home!

Best regards, Chris

Den Thompson   {K:30432} 5/5/2005
Chris, I'm so pleased to hear that Jon has escaped relatively lightly and is OK. That must be a tremendous relief to you and Carole. What is the condition of his girlfriend? The condition of the car shows just how fortunate they have both been.
Great image BTW. You could of course have used my shot of the Diana Air Ambulance. The colours would have been my fitting with the oilseed rape.
Take care.
Den

Great shot Chris... That helicopter is perfectly caught in this wonderful image. Love the colours of the Rape plant here and the fabulous contrast of color with the blue sky.

Really pleased to hear your son is back hom wth you, and that his none the worse (physically) for his experience. I hope he isn't too mentally shaken up too though - this kind of thing can have a very profound effect. That car looks a r real mess... the best possible advert for seat belts!
Take care Chris and I hope the insurance and legal aspects of the crash go ok for you too.
Thinking of you all.
Alastair and Marie

Here's a shot of Jonathan's car, waiting to go through the crusher at the garage it was towed to following the crash. Carole took this picture this afternoon when she went to collect Jon's belongings from the car.
