About Here I am posting my first close-up and it is not meant to be a good picture. I am hoping someone knows what this is. We have not seen one before. He was in our yard yesterday. His outside is hard. He did not fly away. When picked up, his head would move up and down making a clicking noise. This one shows his size.

Hi Martin. It was a little guy that I had not seen before, nor have I seen one since. He had me stumped. That is why I asked on UF if anyone might know. To find out its name and information about it, go to my previous posting 'Who Am I?' Shane Finnigan's comment provides some great information. It is said we should learn something new every day. Well, this could be your tidbit of knowledge for today.
;-))
Have a good one.

Chris, maybe I should have left more of the finger in beside it to show the size better. It was not so big--from the tip of a finger to just past the first finger joint. It's just one we haven't seen before and here in the country we've seen many a big and little creature.
