About I love Bird Photography. Great Blue Haron is one of my favorite bird and recently I found nesting area of this bird. This is a humble try to capture this great bird. I can not close more to the bird due to my lens limitation (300mm)

Handhald. No tripod/Monopod.

This is impressive...crystal clear, great composition, beautiful color...love how you caught one in mid-air!
I see we are from the same area, it's always interesting to see what others so close can find! Going back to look at more of your portfolio. Thanks for the comment!

Kunal,

Your attempts are not in vain. You do these majestic birds honour with this capture. I was a birder before I was a photographer. Much appreciate your sharing. Your gallery is very impressive.

Hello Angelo,
Yes, this is a Heron Family. The place where I captured the image, its a marsh land and one can see eintire Heron colony there along with other birds. I agree with you, closer is not always better and I am keep on improving my photography of birds and its a great learning process. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Kunal,

Great shot of this group of herons. A family?

Closer is not always better, you know? Showing a bird and its environment, interactions etc is also a great way to do bird photography. I like the results you achieved here.

Good timing and exposure.

Great portfolio. Wonderful capture and composition. (I almost didn't see the 3rd bird behind the branch) Thanks for the comment.

I think this is a very good capture Kunal, the details and colors are very good and you caught him/her mid flight.
Well done!
