About When I first started shooting this flower, I didn't see this little guy way down inside of it. The more I snapped, the farther he came out and boy am I glad he did. Awesome capture IMHO;)

I defenitely could use a bit of that patience. I would love to see avideo of you chasing the spider, I am sure it was amusing. :) Alison

Hi Brenda, thanks for your nice comments, I have attached the original w/o the lens flare effect and as you can see, the effect I added was very minimal. The glow from the center of the flower was pretty much just the eway the sun was hitting it.

Yes, very good capture, James. Perhaps (s)he's an aspiring model!

Is it some kind of spider? Nice tweezers! It would be nice if you could identify the species. It may have a scary-sounding name to go with it ;)

Hi Jim! This is an incredible macro! The detail in the flower is awesome and then there is that little added bonus the spider... Such wicked detail on him too! An awesome shot you have here. My only suggestion would be to go it natural and not add any lens flare to the center of the flower, Would love to see the original! :)

Thanks Alison, from what I have learned about photography so far, it is patience, your either waiting for the right light or waiting for the opportunity to catch something good. At least with macro photography it resembles hunting a little bit. You have to be sly and sneak up on the little guys. For example, last night I saw a spider I wanted to get. I must of chased the little devil around the plant 4 times before I finally said, this is ridiculous. See, he saw me and wasn't gloing to let me get him. If I would of been vidio taped it probably would of looked quyite humorous, this big 6'2" guy running around a little plant all stooped over.:)

BTW, thanks for listening;) and have a great evening.

Very nice! One of my first submissions here was also of a guest inside a flower.

BTW, I did add a little PS lens flair to the center of the flower for effect.
