About Hope this turns out to be sharp enough. I kind of messed up on the upload. No adjustments except for resizing and unsharp mask. I am practising for a contest that allows no manipulation whatsoever!!!!!

Thanks Linda. This really is a beautiful ruin and I have photographed it many times. Personally, I prefer the B+W images I have taken here.

Richard I really like this, the rough textures of the stones are a nice contrast against the soft grass, and I like the diagonal in your composition, and I love the colors, stones are one of my favorite things and these are lovely...:):)Linda

Thanks Fadel. I really messed up the upload, and then tried to fix it the easy way with unsharp mask. Perhaps I overdid it!!!!!
The contest allows NOTHING!!!! You turn in your unprocessed film, or download from your Dcam. They print 4X6's for you, and you select the 8X10 which you matte for the contest. Prizes are good though .... a Konica-Minolta 7D is first prize.

Very beautiful image and colors dear Richard, i think it's little bit too sharp that looks like noise on the rocks, or maybe this is because of the upload?
Sounds like a tough contest :) how about dodging and burning, or brightening/darkenning the image, that's now allowed too?
