hi kevin.... nice to see your portfolio. i've never been to ghent, but have been to brugges and antwerp. this shot is reminiscent of those two places, in my mind anyway. your rendition does take us back in time. only thing i can add is that i might crop out a bit of the water at the bottom. seems to be a bit much, to me anyway. good work nonetheless ~ james

Ik ga akkoord met jullie opmerking van de lucht, maar die dag was het van die wazige hoge bewolking, denk niet dat je er meer detail in krijgt.
Ps: ga het wel eens proberen ;-)

Volledig eens met Kurt. Met fotoshop moet het mogelijk zijn de lucht iets door te drukken. Maar het blijft een mooie opname. Ferdinand

Welcome here on usefilm! Do not mind the wind. I think the wrinkles on the water in the front even enhance thec omposition. It gives a stronger foreground.
Aniway, great B&W shot and nice tones.
Only one thing. (on the screen of my labtop) the sky cound use a bit more detail.
