Deft stichwork - agree with Hugo's points...
There is a stitching program that is free and does an amazing job - Autostitch, just google for it. Noticed that you were looking for lower cost solutions...

Hi Pat, Very well composed landscape, I think the panoramic format works very well here. I find the dark tones a bit too dark, removing quite alot of the details in those areas. The river flowing off to the right does take away the attention from those areas, though. How've you been?
