George...no filter...this is F2.8 55mm from about 6 inches away the DOF was probably about .5 inches.. These toad stools are no more than 3 inches...... I did acquire a macro whilst you were away....Thanks

Very engaging picture. I'm trying to figure out the innovative dof here. Did you use a blur filter on the background? Anyway, it's very nice.
