Lovely colours and a good composition, Roger. The colour contrasts are excellent.

Well, Margaret, that shows how much interest I had in flowers when I was still living in England! I can't remember ever having seen it before. Thought they were some exotic semi-tropical variety... "Bottle brush" huh? Makes sense.

Yes you are right I use my telelens either with a small aperture or wider for a more or less flat plane subject
