Thank you! You might be able to still come out even though school started...just try to have a positive attitude :)

I have 1 pic. ready for the state fair and thats it! Pretty bad right?! I think I am going to need your help w/ the rest. If its ok w/ you I will burn what pics. I think would work in the state fair to a CD and send them to school w/ my little sis. She then can give it to you 2nd period (thats when she has you). In the end all you have to do is e-mail me w/ your sugestions.

Very nice Holly! I would agree about the contrast though. But a wonderful detail shot.

I wonder now that school's starting if I'll ever get the chance to see your farm now? I don't have the greatest attitude about it : (

How's the state fair process going? I'm still working away on those wedding pics and haven't done much thinking about mine yet.

what a fantastic old door...makes you want to step up to it, and open it up to see what's inside...well done Holly.
so many interesting things to be found to shoot on farms...i used to love wandering around the haysheds and through the old buildings to see what I could find :)

Yeah, makes sense, but I probably should have noticed it when setting up the shot. That's the kind of thing you only learn with practice and after messing up some great photos! : )

I guess that was just one of them things you cannot control nor let it ruin a wonderful pic. If that makes any sense.

Thanks on the wedding picture comment. Yes, I noticecd that big rock right away but didn't think I could clone that much wedding dress without it being noticable. I wish it was just not there! : )

I believe you are right about the contrast. I will attach the original pic. and see if there is much of a difference (besides the color...which for some reason came out w/ blue tint or @ least it looks like it to me).

BTW your wedding photographs turned out wonderful. The only thing I would have done differently was remove the large rock that covers up the bottom of the wedding dress in the pond pic. But thats just me. Other then that you did a fantastic job.

Great shot Holly. Very neat old door. Might have been good to use a bit more contrast.
