About i guess it was so hot here on this ridge for this guy that he had to install these big windmills to bring the temperature down.

Hi John,
I am not big on technology myself and I understand your sentiment but I had to look at it this way. these wind generators are one of the few things that humans build that are in a way beautiful in a similar way to the airplanes that you post. but more then that for me, is the fact these are one of the things that humans do that don't create huge damage to the very planet we need to live in. So I am choosing to appreciate them in a fashion similar to ... say cars of airplanes. Tools that have a positive effect more then negative. I am sure given say 50 years these will be remembered fondly as we do the windmills in Holland.

Forgive me for not liking your shot, Its not your photography, its just that I consider those wind generators a blot on a beautiful landscape.

Great composition, Tim! The turbines look great against the sky, and are a striking contrast to the golden crop.

i love the stark white of the windmills that contrasts so nicely with the deep blue sky! i like the way the field encompasses most of the composition, but i think i would have cropped it a little bit more. and i love the little house!! haha it really puts things in perspective, i definitely wouldn't ahve assumed the windmills were that large otherwise! well done! Kessia

What a beautiful shot, the colors are amazing and the perspective of the tall grass or wheat takes the eye up to the windmills which also take the eye up and through the shot. Alison

Nice composition, colors are great, excellent balance. But explain how you caught 3 wind generators with thier blades in almost perfect sync ?
You are good ;-)

How about some interior air conditioning? Seems they don't really believe in them here in Oregon. Those windmills give this image an abstract feeling to it. I like how the house sits there looking so small amongst these gigantic things. Nice capture~

Hi TIm just as I was viewing this - yuor comment popped in - thanks I have done a few in this series and like experimenting.
I love tht title for this and the texture and colours in the field are amazing - almost losing definition [but not] and seem to be pointing towards the 'airconditioning units' LOL
