Hi Chris,
GOOD JOB on this one. Love the colors. I think that what sets it off is (obviously) the wonderful rich blue behind it.

That is a gorgeous rose, Chris, and the blue tinting you gave the background complements the yellows very well. A fine composition, also, placing the rose off-center and leaning into the frame.

I love the rose, and am grateful for the introduction to Merete's images. The front-page thumbnail didn't even tempt me to peep, but the actual image (like some of her others) shows real artistry. If this is photoart it's pretty wonderful. Perhaps I find it easier to accept in her images because they do not try to give the illusion they are actual photographs? Anyway, thanks for the heads up, Chris.
