About Another shot from the Albuquerque Botanical Garden's Butterfly Pavillion. Not quite as many butterflies, now so they're much harder to get shots of. Had to lean over a railing to get this shot while the little bugger just sat there and let me taken a bunch of crappy pictures of him - except for this somewhat decent one.

Excellent. I'm glad you were able to find one! I've found that the best times to go seem to fall from May to late July - that's when there's TONS of them fluttering around, while in May and August their numbers are not as plentiful. You'll enjoy it. You'll probably find yourself going several times through the summer and getting some great shots.

Thanks for the idea Morgan. Right after I left my last reply I Googled it and found one that starts mid April at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County! I've already left word for the woman in charge to make arrangements. It runs April through September. http://www.nhm.org/exhibitions/butterflies/index.html

Yes you do. It allows for a lot of time to get REALLY colse to them, and since they're not too skitish, it works GREAT. Hope you find one. You'll likely have to wait until the end of May till you even hear about any. Good luck.

I sure hope you have a butterfly pavilion near you like I do. I'd be very interested in seeing more of your work - especially with butterflies.
