About This is Sal. He's been on the waterfront for over 50 years. He is a boatwright. One of a very few remaining men who are experienced enough to make repairs to very old boats. The boat he is working on here was built 104 years ago in England. When his job is finished, the area he has repaired will be good for another hundred years. As he told me, about the only difference between himself and those that built this boat is that half of his tools are electrically powered.

Unfortunately few of those experience people still do those works, it?s a craft and art work, the framing done nicely showing the open air workshop. superb.Saeed

I have alot of respect for these craftsman. I am lucky to live in an area that has one of the largest yacht restoration schools (IYRS) in the country, and love to see this beauties sailing like they did years ago.

Cheers,
Chris
