actually I was not happy with the sharpness of detail as I was not that far from the bird and he was doing all this just for me to photograph. realy was a ham. I havent had time to go back and see if they are still hanging out there. Gas is so high I am going to have to cut down on my back road excersions I guess.

Nice capture of him, Brandy! A good clear shot with lots of detail in the dark feathers. We have a similar bird here called a Turkey Vulture. Dave.

here they are called buzzards and eat dead things. I think they are either vultures or part of the family. usally see them eating road kill. not a pretty bird but he sat they doing all kinds of poses for me and I was trying to get my 70-300 lense to work. I did appreciate his posing for me I prefered this as it looked like he was about to dive bomb something.
