About	(super taks are early 70?s ( a very lounge lens i.m.h.o) Something about this effect reminds me of drab science school text books covers of some time before. Bring back memories to anyone? If anyone doesn know it is the effect from going just out of focus with a wide aperture lens. First noticed in day light but the big contrasts here really bring it out.

great job, as you say it relly resembles the science books of school, in fact it brings me to the time in as a kid in science museum playing with the light experiments...
Again, great shot... maybe a bit noisy.

haha it's true about the aesthetics of schoolbooks. reminds me of how I've followed the development of lenses on motion picture cams by looking at the changing shapes of flares in especially nightshots with out of focus backgrounds and streetlights etc. completely nerdy - but it can make even a crappy movie worthwhile.
