Mark, Great set of photos! There are many things that qualify for a good photo. A lot of my favorite photos are those that immediately hit an emotional response in myself and this is one of those photos. Paul

Thanks Linda
I wanted this image to drip with nostalgia and I'm glad that you saw it that way. Isn't it strange how old and ugly broken down things can evoke such strong feelings of longing ......... such is life I guess.
Take care my friend
Mark ;-)

Hi Mark, I love the simplicity of your compositions, always a favorite of mine. These both have a feeling of nostalgia, of times past, of abandon. Really nice tones and vignettes as always. The tilt of the swing seat and the rope hanging down, along with the flat tire on the caravan further enhancing the feeling of being left, and abandoned...great work my friend...:):)

Thanks for the comment Zelda.
Nostalga is exactly what I was trying to achieve in the image so I'm glad you used the word in your comment.

Thanks Ciprian for pointing out that little discretion. I've thrown out the CF card and loaded the holga with film.
Glad you liked the images.

They do actually give you the feeling they've been taken ages ago. Beautiful way of looking at things.

P.S. Lexar 1GB card in a Holga? Have they gone digital?

Ditto on this one. Such great atmosphere. I like both, but I find the caravan image very special, a nice box in a box compo where the background almost looks like a theatrical backdrop.
