The detail in the foregound is the wet sand with sun glistening off it. No intention of capturing all the detail otherwise would lose those contrasting reflections of the gorgeous sunrise.

George, I think the other photos in this series are better because they have more foreground detail. It looks a little underexposed here. Theer is too much contrast at the scene so you could benefit from a gradual density filter to darken the sky a little and then increase your exposure a couple of stops to bring out the details. Nice sun through the clouds though. Which beach, looks like bronte or Maroubra or something.
