Thats true I know the feeling, I was trying to take a shot of salmon swimming upstream at a point where they had to jump over some rocks, they were jumping every second but the river was 30 yards wide, never did get a clear shot :)

The hard thing is, one never knows where and when this fish would pop out. To make things easier, I wedged myself in the front of the boat and tracked left-right-left-right in a tight angle of coverage just like a radar. I wouldn't even bother to swing out of this coverage field. The skipper had objected but I had none of it until snapped one. lol
