Thanks for the nice comment Vanessa. If you ever get the chance to paddle around (in a kayak) up in the arctic, I'd highly reccomend it. It's more breathtaking than can be put into words (well at least by me). Cheers, Gary

What an interesting perspective and great idea. I love that the boat (canoe?? :S) provides a central line guiding to a vansihing point in the centre of the ice. Its hard to do this and create an image thats a bit different. This is breathtaking, beautiful and wonderful tones. I love the silhouettes of the ice and the slight peek of the sun we get at the top of the frame. one that i could sit and stare at for a long time! regards Vanessa

Un punto di ripresa insolito, ma molto interessante ed originale! Ottima la composiziuone generale dello scatto, equilibrato e con colori molto belli!

yes, a bit distracting, but I wanted to try and imitate what it would really be like paddling into the sun like that!! Thanks for the comment

Its not too often that you find a perfectly smooth water surface like that... great capture. I do find that the sun on the top is a bit distracting.. but that might just be my eyes.. Great image..
