About This picture was taken at a friend's wedding reception at the end of August. I've been the 'official photographer' at three weddings now, but am always watching the real pro's to see how they set about it. This was one of the more unusual poses the official lensman adopted in order to get that special shot!

Best regards to all,

Chris

Yes, Chris, you captured in your photo the intensity of your collegue taking his very well! And since contemporary poets write mainly poetry about poets writing poetry, and painters paint about painting why should we not take photographs of photographers taking photographs... and your picture told a lot about how he was lost in taking his!

The strange thing to me is that the picture seems to have been deformed, "shortened" partly through the odd perspective...

Love this one Chris, as many wedding as I've photographed, can't say I've ever done this one. Only a guy could get away with it. Bet he got a great picture, the setting looks great.

Great shot from you Chris but I have to wonder what the 'pro' got at that angle. Terrific idea though. Were you officiating or just a guest? Well done to you Chris and best wishes...Ray

Great human interest shot, Chris. Technically perfect exposure with great color and detail. The picture that the photograher is taking is a good composition too but I think I like this one better :-) Best regards, Larry

Great capture Chris, Definitely leave this to the pros - or should it be to the more nimble, by the time I got up from this position, the bride and groom would have already left LOL

This is fine when you are young but getting up and down now is a chore.. Great angle. I thought for a minute that it might be a self portrait or one by your wife. Getting into wedding photography is hard work. Don.
