About Ovenden Moor wind farm near Halifax, very very cold night, no wind so this thing just turned as far as you can see in 20 seconds!

Just a polariser on this to grab the colours

Learned to not use grads on these cause you get a dark top of the mast, and a light bottom - un-natural according to the publisher of Ephotozine, best advice I've had in months so thought I'd share it.

We've been so incredibly lucky with the sunsets in November, just wish I had more than 2 nights worth - guess thats haing to work all day screwing things up :-(

The blur of the blades just adds to the chillines of the scene. Great how you've capture the red (being a warm colour) to come over cold. Nice one Mate.

One of your nicest of these monsters yet Ade, from a beautiful red to a beautiful blue, very peaceful and not too cold looking.

Your sky colours are wonderful. I love the transitions. The tall lonely looking wind catcher relly adds great elemnet to the shot.

I love the color gradient that this picture gives. And also the blurred outline of the moving blades of the windmill looks interesting.

Exquisite colour banding, Ade. Nice motion capture on the turbine blades, too. Effective work with the polarizer (I used to have a cokin polarizer for my old zenith, about 20 years back!)
I like the minimal proprotion of dark land, you've included. A simple and very effective image, Ade.
