I think of clean air and fresh nature when i see this moss, but i also know it doesn´t need to be true.
A great compo of the brances to create a half abstract image of a beautiful nature. Good work Ann.

I love this. Isn't this area amazing? You have only to walk out your front door to find a scene worth capturing!
Thanks for your comment on my photo, do check out the Saturday market (it starts up again when the weather warms up) - it is a lot of fun, and full of great things to photograph.

Hi mundh, thank you for dropping by and for your comment. This is actually a photo of tree branches. I live in ORegon where we get a lot of rain. It's heavily forested and with the huge rainfall the trees grow moss on the branches and trunks. All that funny green stuff is moss.
Thank you also for your best wishes.
Cheers - Ann :)

Ann, I really like how you captured the "stair-step" effect of the horizontal lines of the branches as they intersect with the verticle tree trunks. The greens in the image are very inviting, and give the viewer the feeling of a lush forest with birds in the trees and little bits of sun breaking through the canopy. I have tried many time to try and capture this feeling, and have never been successful. Very well done!

Hiya Ann nice to 'see' you are about and hope you get over the little bugger that's pestering you.
This is a fascinating sight. The moss looks really thick around the branches and it seems as though it must take the life out of the tree. The trunks and branches form a great natural pattern and the colour is such a lovely rich green.
Welcome back Ann, take it easy and gradually come back to us with your fabulous shots. Best wishes to you....Ray

Wow, I love these mossy limbs, they look alive! The enchanted forest! I have yet to see some in person, they are beautiful! The green is so vivid, and it looks like velvet. You have verticals, horizontals, and you know what's missing? A giant lizard! These trees remind me of movies in pre-historic eras. So maybe a dinosaur :)
