Eb - Have you noticed that when setting ISO on 100 you get great color saturation, yet a hint of softness? For example, ISO adds grain which which provide a "sharp" looking image. Really colorful shot.

Eb - Did you use PS HDR to "combine" the images? Nice composition and sharp detail with soft water. A nice example of the use of shutter speed and aperture setting.

It must have been a relatively calm day to get this sharpness. I assume you used the mirror lock-up feature? I have found that it really increases detailing in my 200mm micro.

Eb - I love the details and vivid colors. Isn't it amazing how f16 on a macro still provides DOF similar to a larger aperture on non-macros.

Ray - The subject (ball carrier) is focused just right. I also like the expressions of those in the background - especially the jumping cheerleader to the left.

Eb - I like the details on this one. Boat rigging, sky, smoke, slight reflection of the smoke and hazing hills in the background. Gosh - Your photo opportunities seem limitless. Nice work.

Eb - A really unique capture. Everything seems to look in-place...except for the "sinister" lokking guy in the background. He makes the photo have an abstract feel. Only my opinion. Good job.

Eb - A great example that tele zooms are nice for "portrait" work. DOF is just about perfect. Colors abundant. Thse redheads are really photogenic!!

Michael - Yes i was using a Manfrotto monopod with a really heavy ball head. The whole rig (camera, lens and monopod) weighed about 20 pounds. I could get used to carry it around (except for the sore shoulder).
