Eb - Beautiful sharp focus. Contrast is perfect. The Sigma is usually "flat" on contrast and variable on autofocus. They eat "holes" in our azaleas.

Eb - We are getting some white tail activity around the house - but the woods are so dense that it is luck when I see them. You are so fortunate to have this at your fingertips. Beautiful detail and color.

Eb - A really great shot. Looks like you were taking a walk and came up to a fence and this was the view. Boy, the weather must be mightly fine this time of year! This shot illustrates all of these.

I have to ask the obvious - standing in the water? Nice compostion with the leaning tree showing up as a reflection and in the background (almost a silhouette).

Eb - Nice contrast in "movement". Quiet pool followed by rapids. The ripples in the pool area look like there is a light breeze! A beautiful location. In our neck of the woods - water is stagnant and often muddy this time of the year. Count your blessings.

Eb - This nice photo has many things evoking my comments:
1. Contrast is well "balanced", given the amount of sunlight and shadow.
2. I assume that the polarizer was on - in order to get water colors without reflections.
3. Sidelighting really gives a real range on green coloring (moss on the right hand side of the right center tree).
Really nice.

Eb - We have these down here also. Nice composition and perfect exposure. I have noticed that one has to be careful when shooting white flowers to avoid a "blown-out" shot. Texture and lines in the bloom are captured in nice detail.

Eb - A really original shot. What was your zoom setting? Based on the quality of your shots with this lens, it makes me want to sell the Sigma and go with the Nikon.

Eb - Great, colorful capture. The combination of bluish-purple and yellow background are nice. The yellow items in the background must have been relatively far away because at f8 I would have expected more to be in focus.
