Dave - Thanks. As you can imagine....ball placement is just dumb luck. What I was really happy with is the details of the ball.

Nice selection of shutter speed. This shot makes me think all you can hear at this location is rushing water. Well thought out.

Nice colors....the rocks...evergreens...leaves intermingled in the rocks...leaves turning in the background.

Nice fall shot. Outlines of trees really give a nice feel to the photo.

Nice perspective through the rocks. Exposure looks almost perfect to me.

Beautiful setting. Using a ND filter?

Eb - This insect would really "disappear" in certain surroundings. Nice eye.

Eb - Awesome details and select focusing. Was this shot AF or MF?

Eb - Great macro. It also has the look of some type of flower.

Eb - A great shot with colors and detail. The dew on the locust makes this a really original photo ( I have not seen many like this one).

Nice composition. Really neat in showing the spectrum of colors. I assume you did not know you would get this affect? A nice thing to remember for future shots in similar conditions.

This is a great example of lens bokeh. The "abberations" on the near water droplets really adds to the presentation. Keep up the good work.

Eb - A really innovative capture. Isn't nature amazing and pretty? Nice work. I also like the subtle background shades.

Thanks Ray. Wish you could be there to show me up!! Your absence this year makes the games kinda dull at times.

Many thanks Eb. This was really intended to be a candid shot of my son (#73 facing the coach). The thing I I like is the relative sizes of the players. My son is about 6'-2", 270lbs and the player behind him is 6'5", 330 lbs..

Boy - They grow big these days!

Eb - The lighting was really difficult. Exposure settings were really not great. The stadium we were at was an atypical orientation (90-degrees from the norm where the "Home" stands are on the west side). I will post some more of this drill team next week after we go to the game on Saturday. I plan to use the 400mm f2.8. It ROCKS!!

Thanks Eb. Did you notice the rubber pieces stuck to her right knee? For me....when details like this show up...I feel like it's a keeper of an image.

Eb - First - Thanks for your comments and input. Second....The DC lens is a recent acquisition. I got it for low light capability (stage photos, portraits and some sports). It is built like a tank and is a real chunk of glass. So far I have only used the DC in tests. This photo had the DC on neutral. One thing is for certain...it produces very sharp images at f2.8 and smaller. F2 is still really good with a soft touch.

Nice colors and sharpness. Exposure and contrast nicely done. I assume you used a ring flash? If so, flash intensity is just about perfect.

More nice use of a telephoto in a macro application. Shot from a tripod?

Interesting option for the capture. It almost looks over exposed, but is not. Great sharpness. DOF accents the foreground.

Fantastic setting. I like the haze on the hills. Good color and vivid detailing. The reflections and main objects form a "point" in the center.
