	Critique By: David Chang-Sang (K:680) 12/16/2002 3:34:40 PM Joy, Having shot with Pentax in the past (and still have an old body/lens) - it's not the body. The sharpness would be linked to the lens - f5.6 is, in my humble opinion, good for portraits. The Ilford 400 (I don't know if you used Delta 400 or HP5+) is fine for film. The lens, however, probably isn't all that sharp if it's an 80-300 zoom. If possible, try out an older SMC-A 100mm f2.8 (or any of the 100mm f2.8 lenses), and see the difference in sharpness. If that is too out of reach financially, you should be able to pick up a rather inexpensive SMC-M 50mm f1.4 lens which is extremely sharp. Not the best for portraiture but still very good!
