Oh, behind the tree there is a sand dune? Thats why nine colour of sand.

Another winner, Don. How long were you in the Namib? What amazing sites. Did you have a guide, a crew maybe?

When is the book coming out. You are doing a book, right?

Did you see any diamond mines or shipwrecked vessels? They say the desert is growing westward and so the shoreline is advancing into the Atlantic. And that there is fog, which causes the shipwrecks, but not much rain.

And I have also heard that the deserts of Africa are where the hurricanes that come to Florida are seeded.

it's amazing Don , great one..
you should have exposed it about 5 hours , don't you?
and good place for doing this , minimum of light pollution , and nice blue and red color tones on the sky with good foreground composition...
very well done!
