Jake, Jose Maria, thank you very much, I love photoshop but this one wasn't manipulated at all. You just have to be there at the right time, the time window is about 15 minutes, winter is better

Thanks guys. Christopher, I made a 20x30 inches print for a friend. I looks much more interesting than the computer image of this size. The picture was made about 20 minutes before the sunset, so on the big print one can see bright stars that hardly can be seen here. Victor

Mike, thanks. I work around the corner, next to the Santa on Watertown Str, and I live in Newton, too, so I'm crossing this bridge pretty much every day. The thing that struck me that day was the beauty of the sunset, I didn't even think about traffic then. As far as i remember the exposure was about 1 second. You can see a better version of the picture on my site www.GeoPoster.com. Regards, Victor

Dave, you're right, it doesn't change the aspect ratio. I just didn't notice that this image aspect ratio wasn't perfect before I saw it on usefilm. I actually removed some of the sky to make it perfect 2:3, and I think it looks better now. You can check again on my site, thanks.

Arthur, I kind of agree with you, but the problem is that when usefilm posts images, it shrinks them and changes the original side ratio. The original image looks much better, it's perfect 2/3, you can see it on my site, www.geoposter.com, thanks.

Hi Anne, it is nice to meet another Bostonian, still finding my way around the site. I think the trees blocking the sun don't let you to make a nice sunset picture here. The ducks look misterious and funny hurrying home before the dark.

Thanks guys. Anne, I think the boats are just green, maybe they look a little bit greener than they are as a result of a long exposure. I think I set it to 5 sec. You can making this kind of picture pretty much every sunny day if you live aroud. The trick is to catch this 10 minutes time window between the end of the sunset and the night.
