The light does give him an angelic feel. Great capture. I hope that people were able to escape the fires. Good luck to the community on rebuilding.

Very nice moment, captured brilliantly Ashley, and I'm very glad that most of the town will (hopefully) be saved.

Thanks for the compliment Ashley; really appreciate it! Sounds like you have a great outlook on life there. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. It can be a really decent forum for critiques.

un bel taglio: originale e coraggioso per presentare un ritratto...
l'illuminazione a prevalenti colori gialli aggiunge un'aria di caldo e di intimità alla scena...

Hi Rob, Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, I think I enjoy shooting people the most. I am a makeup artist as well, so it lets me use two things I love the most. You know, the funny thing about Oklahoma is that I love it here, but I am wearing no rose colored glasses about the area of Oklahoma I live in. It is a bit off the beaten path, but that is part of its charm, and problem. Hee hee. Defenitely love hate. Really love your nature shots, you are talented!

Hi there Ashley; laughing about your comment about OK. My younger brother and sister just moved back there several months ago; she has some work on UF. They're longing to get back to Phoenix already. Nice shot; looks like you have an eye for shooting people. Is that what you're predominantly interested in?

Oh yes my friend. Believe it. When you are clean, sober and a big nerd, there is not much to do that is not ARTSY! Around here, in Oakleeehoma, that can be indicative of an outcast. Ok, not really, I am streeetching the truth a bit, I really prefer to be a hermit, it is nice. Besides the occasional ballroom dance class. It's a great way to live, surrounded by cameras. Thanks for the compliments.

I find it hard to believe you could be a hermit...that would be a shame to men everywhere lol

I would have to agree....it forces you to question what's real and what's the reflection. The warm tones also work well,

Cheers,
Chris
