I think your right about the flash ,
it was a very quick shot at a picnic I really diden't know what a great portrait it was untill I got home

What a pretty young lady who you have managed to capture well. However a few things let the image down....whilst the soft focus is good for skin texture it is not so good for the eyes which should always be sharp also I do think a catchlight maybe from fill in flash would have helped to lift the image.Personally I would have used the healing brush in Photoshop to remove the stray hair from her nose and mouth to tidy the image up. Finally the very heavy frame seems a little too much for me and I would make it symetrical. Still a nice shot though and one I am sure you are rightly proud of. Regards, Brian

This is the photo that started my passion for photography.
I recived the print and said WoW I captured exactly what I saw
It was a important moment in my life
I have a 20 x 30 print on my wall beside my desk to remind me where I started
I have over taken 4500 images since and am working on a coffee table book of my work
