Great shot! Love the texture in the face and the beard. Good use on the depth of field and I like that you went with B&W instead of color on this one, I think it give it more character.

Okay...now I really wished I had my camera on this day as Susan (my girlfriend) and I went for a walk on the ranch...the lighting was just soooooo awesome that day...:)

Great shot...however I would look at maybe cropping out the trees...it would give the image a little more impact...I hope you don't mind...but I just did a quick crop to show you what I was thinking...Have a Great Day.:)

Thank-you for the postive feedback...yep, had to go handheld on this one...it was kind of hard to get to the flower in Susan's Garden...wish I could have used a tri-pod on this on, but you go with what you got...and yes, she does have a lot to shoot in the garden...in fact I plan on doing some more this weekend. Thank-you...in fact I had to wait a few hours on the lighting...I love to use natural lighting when shooting...I guess it comes from all those years of doing Combat Camera stuff... )

Great shot and use of the birds reflection in the sand...I noticed that you use "reflections"...by the way I know you know this already, but using reflection is one of the visual communications techniques called "Reflective" which can be a powerful tool when used corretly and you seem to have it down and make it work...Great job!!! 7/7
