I like the concept but just can't seem to find the drama in this one that your other photo captured so well. Nice shot though. He is rather photogenic!

After looking at both photos, I have to admit I am partial to this one. His face tells the story without so much of a word. Nice photo! Congrats

I never realized that Parliment is on a tilt. I also took pictures recently but didn't notice this. I do know that your photo is great looking! Nice angle to a beautiful building. Welcome to the big city! Good luck with the studies.

When I first saw this photo, I thought it was too dark. However, after studying it for a few minutes, I changed my mind. I like the way you have captured the colors which stand out and draw you in at the same time. It is very 3D looking also. Congrats on a great pic!

I am sorry to hear of your friend's loss. I like the concept of the photo with the way the greenery goes up against the headstone. I am not sure what position you could have laid in to make it different. I find when shooting gravestones time of day is the most important part for the shadows. It is a nice tribute to your friend though. It shows emotion with dignity.

Thank you again Mary. It was a fun day and yes lots of pictures of the kids too! Not just what they were looking at. This is a 3D lamp which amazes me. There were others as you may notice in the background. Thank you again for browsin my pictures. I enjoy looking at yours also though I tend not to always comment as I don't have the experience to critique properly I feel.

This child is simply amazing! Her expression can make one read so many things into the setting around her. Having done this in black and white just sets the mood. Very well done!

thank you again Martin. This one was not cropped. It was resized for here and that's it. I am not sure what glass you mean but it was the rain waterdrops I was intrigued with. Bokeh? help me out here please.

Thank you Martin. However, I have no idea what DOF is. When I state I am purely an amateur...I really am! I tend not to crop but this one I had to due to the other child wanting to go down too! I don't print pictures of children face on anywhere thus cropped this one for sure! Thank you again and I hope that you had a great trip!
