When I first saw this thumbnail, I thought it was a face upon the chair. I noted though it is the wall behind. This is such a powerful picture. Congrats!

Thank you for your comment Mary. It saddens me to look at it at times as it will only be a matter of years and that field will be gone too! All the best to you!

I find that there are often days when none of my pictures that I truly like get comments on either. I find that difficult but we are all busy I guess.
However, I saw this picture in a thumb and had to click as I could not understand what it was.

It is simply beautiful! The fine details are simply outstanding. You comment that you were just playing with your new camera. I can hardly wait to see your pictures when you master it!
Congrats on a fine picture! Water is hard enough to capture let alone with such intensity! The placement in this picture speaks to how small yet how significant it is. The reflections are amazing within it! Simply beautiful!
All the best

They seem to go on forever as does the land. The land is too dark for my tastes in comparison to the clouds. Not one of your better photos but it is a good picture regardless. Your portfolio has changed emensely and is well balanced! All the best to you in the future my friend.

The colors and intesity of this sunrise is certainly worthy of being awake for...if only they were all this pretty it would make morning easier for us night hawks! Great shot! Congrats!

Nice shot! It is picture perfect! I like the way the sun and tracks appear to meet. The darkness of the town adds to the night fall effect in a subtle way. Congrats! Another great color photo!

Thank you Mary for your comments. I would have prefered more clarity to the water but this is the best one that this camera would give me. I am glad that someone appreciated it!

Thank you Tony. He heard a noise which turned out to be a train and within moments jumped up and the shoot was done.
I have learnt two things, to be a little further back and to know the train schedule!

Thank you Mary. I was standing umongst the corn to get this shot. It was one of those random"Hey look at the differences of trees" while on a lunch hour walk from work. I appreciate your comments.

In looking at it again, you are right Rich the focus is off. It was so sunny that I could not see through the screen properly. It looked ok as a thumb when I uploaded it...lol but in seeing it here, I think I should reshoot it. It is just down the street from work so ....thank you for your imput...I appreciate all the help I can get in my learning path.
Best regards

First glance, I thought this was a fire. Second glance and proper look, I could not believe that this was such a fine cloud! The sun hit just perfectly. The detail in the cloud makes me feel like I could just reach out and touch it! Your DOF is excellant! Great picture Rich...beats out the lonely path which would have made a great framed picture! Congrats my friend!
