Thank you Liz. Tonight we had the dogs in posing for pictures. Doyle posted his pup, and I had to post one on my pup. Doyle's poor dog had to wear a reindeer costume. They are actually very good at having their pictures taken....like they have a choice.

Thanks Michele.....the blood pressure was getting extremely high....probably the long work hours were not helping. For the remained of the month I am taking 1/2 days off on Fridays and Mondays to use some vacation time. The Friday before Christmas and New Years I will be off the whole day as my office is already closed 1/2 day. Still have to do my job, but will make sure I take some time each day out for me to relax.

Thanks Jessie. The only reason I went out in the dark to shot this is I had Doyle with me and he had a flashlight and a big shoe! I'm not afraid of spiders, I just don't like them. Yet, like you say in a macabre way they are interesting.

Thank you Michele.....we do have many spiders, possibly due to all the plants. Personally I hate spiders, but they do eat the bugs that bother my plants, so the spiders can stay.

Thank you Bryan. The focus is a little soft, it was very dark outside and I had to turn off most of the lights, so even finding it in the view finder was a chore.

Hope you get this greeting OK 'cos I hear from Doyle that you are both so busy these days. I too find it difficult to make sufficient UF time....heyho.
This is a shot that I missed in one of my now regular 'time outs' from UF. The cormorant is certainly enjoying it's moments of piece but ever watchful it missed facing you. Sublimely oblivious it feels perfectly safe on that well detailed chunk of rock it's found. Well done to you Marny and once again enjoy your 32nd birthday:) Hope to 'see' you real soon back on UF. Doyle here . . . Marnie has been very busy of late -- just so you know . . . she has no issue with this and was likely just curious . . . if not her . . . marnie - i for sure would not go out in the dark, not with this monster around! they are beautiful in a macabre way, aren't they?? personally, i hate them. i try not to be that way in front of lillie, though, bc i don't want her to be scared of them like i am! great shot!!
