Marc, I like this image a lot, but think it would be a bit stronger if you cropped the bottom (remove glimpse of floor below) and left (remove slightly distracting non-repeating element in top left corner).

Beautiful. When in spain I noticed that all the architecture looks like sand... that's probably the strongest thing I like about spain. Very nice shot... impressive

Hi, thanks for your comment. you are right, it is still somewhat too dark...and I would agree with you about the curved horizon, except that I don't think it's the horizon that is curved but the hill in front of it. Nevertheless it's not clear and therefore detracts, I guess. Recently I've been finding that landscape photography is much more difficult than I previously thought. Many of my photos of Spanish countryside are not great, I should have used the ND grad filter I was carrying much more often.

This is a nice picture with some really cool colours. I particularly like the sky, where the clouds really stand out. Did you use any filters?
The picture doesn't really seem to have a strong subject; perhaps you would have been better off getting in much closer to the gentleman to really capture the scene.

Ahhh Spain. I haven't seen it since I was a child and we drove from Germany to Spain. I love the scenery there... I think it's the most beautiful place on earth. Lovely photo. The contrast even reaches the clouds. Very nice
