Great landscape image. It almost makes we look forward to snow and winter (not my favourite season of the year)

This is beautiful with the many layers of mountains giving it such depth. The sun is amazing, glistening off the snow, and the purple color adds to the majestic look. Alison

I've been waiting on this. You have to like this one more. The vastness overwhelms. Very nice shot, as I thought it would be. T

Marc

I like the inversion a lot, it drew me in for a look before any of the others in your portfolio. Looks like a building in Dallas, though, from this angle, they all look alike.. tall and mean.

I don't know if you can see it, but somewhere down there is a lone skiier...so unfortunately not so deserted. But a nice place to spend an entire winter nonetheless!

Thanks for your comment, you are right about the technical quality. It was on my friend's (the person in the picture) little digicam she brought for the trip. I have much trouble getting good quality shots, but hopefully the photos I scan later will be nicer, since I had better lenses with my own camera (not digital).

Hi Marc, maybe not the best considering the technical quality of this shot, but a very impressive shot. The angle and relative w/a lens is very effective, and the shot is expertly exposed. Very good tones and details. I like this one alot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Great shot. I can imagine that the print is quite beautiful. It makes me wish I could see it in person. Only thing I might change is to see how it looked with either more of the people at the bottom, or completely crop them out. Just seeing the heads is a bit distracting.

Very nice range of shades here, Marc, and wonderful composition. You placed the sun perfectly for the halo effect. A purist might clone out the top branch on the right side of the frame, but I'm not a purist. Well done ...
