In my opinion, the picture on its own is good, technically well done, but quite frankly, nothing special.
What makes it special, is the about, the understanding of the hardships, and the ability of the photographic community to put prejudice aside and empathise.
It shows how the innocent are affected, and for achieving that, I congratulate you.
Coming from a community that has survived for years exactly on that prejudice, I thank you for touching my heart.

I love this. Absolutely fabulous.Beautiful pictures, beautiful model, fantastic tones and wonderful composition.
A tribute to a beautiful person. Into my favourites, and certainly something to which I will refer back in an effort to match.
I hope this has been printed onto a large canvas!

Stunning portrait Francisco. Personally, I would added just a touch more contrast, but dont let my personal opinion detract from a lovely image/ Loved your high key Andrea VI - lovely girl to have as a model....now if only my wife played along...lol

lol, it appears the lead is trying to refocus it tho...
Lighting on the audience is cool. They move out your way for this shot? lol

Lovely perspective, the sort of thing i enjoy. Great tonality , but suspect this would look just as good in full colour wit h a gorgeous sunset.

You may have been wondering around the preserve, but this is very well done. The shadows form strong lines and great clouds. I wonder, could you have got all of that tree in...?

In my opinion, not enough comments on this pic.Beautiful colours, and depth added with the shadows...
Small crit is the 'feather'running through the centre of the 'eye' in the forground.
Focus is perfectly situated on that eye...

Loved this image 0 very striking, but I do agree with Greg.
Since this is CC, a light move left would take the sunject out of centre and also seperate the left forground rock from the right background rock...

no comments?
I like the idea very much, bright red on bright green against bright blue... except that the bright blue is not that blue. A polariser / slight PS tweak would make a big difference.
Movement on the flying pice of papae ris good, but has left your subject a little soft?
All of this is or course, subjective, but I do like it overall.

Hi mark - having not posted for a while, i feel a little like an imposter.
IMO, a slight move right / pan left may have got rid of the "tuft" on the right, and some of the background "noise" - that little vessel in the background? Not sure what that would have revealed to the left.
Great colours lovely image

I realise it might not be a boat Larry - hence the question mark. Deck? whatever it is, I just thought it should either be exluded completely, or included completely. Maybe its too big to include completely without disturning the rest of the composition?
Kiarang is on to what I mean...
Still, A stunning image Larry, so please ignore the ramblings of a real amateur..lol

Indeed it is hot hot hot. In my hmble opinion, it would positively sizzle if the necklace was removed. Also, perhaps darken the fabric she is kneeling on.
Beautiful eyes and wonderful lighting. Love it!

Dont believe that this should should NOT be commented on.I like the hi-contrast look.I think the tones are very good, and use of DOF to highlight the face and eyes. Good work - well done

Looking back Lydia, not sure what that was. trying to get a "poster" look.... Been at this picture taking thing for about a year now, and that was an early photoshop experiment...
did post a reply to your comment on "another planets hell" - but realised that I didnt send it to you...
Thanks for your comments

Prefer this posting to the one with the dam...but yes, alittle more space in front would have been nice.
