As I understand Rashed is your brothers first name. It is my last name. My husbands family is from Lebanon and it is their name.

Love this. I also have a take on Canada in my pictures. The leaf rotated might have been cool. Not completely straight just upright. The colors are great. Overall very cool concept.

Love, love, love the color and softness of the girls. Unsure of the beach though. Another choice for backdrop maybe. On grass or maybe street setting as though it were a parade, maybe. Just a thought. Overall great capture, though.

Love your choice for keeping color. I enjoy doing this with my photos as well. I find it defines the story that is happening.

Yeah I had some trouble uploading it that I didn't have with my first couple of shots. Not sure why. Thanks for the comment.

The Canon Powershot A620 has a color accent feature to choose the color before you take the shot. It gives you a menu of the colors it sees and you choose one. The sun was shining so bright from the west side that it picked up some yellow pigment in the green leaves. I really liked the result. I appreciate your opinion though.

I din't do anything with the white. That was just the color of the sky. I removed a power pole that was shown form behind. That ws the only adjustment I made.

I didn't do any surgery on the colors. My camera takes the shot like this. Sorry you feel that way.

I just bought the Photoshop 4.0 full version on ebay for $60.00. It even comes with a little digital camera as a gift pack which I will allow my husband to use.

I saw your portfolio and read your bio. I can't beleive you've only been shooting for a couple of years. What is PS Elements 3. Is it a Photoshop program? And you use a Canon Powershot too. That gives me hope sonce I just got the A620. I'm still reading the manual. It's a lot to understand but I want to learn about aperture priority and shutter speed. You're portfolio is amazing and it gives me some hope.

I just wondered if you had any comments on another pic I took that day. It's basically trial and error right now although I plan to take a course online in my spare time. I've always had a passion for this but just now am making the time important.

Yes I was disheartened that I had missed their feet. I don't understand much about the sizing. It was my first day with the camera and when I wanted to e-mail them to family they were too big and wouldn't go through.
Someone recommended the Kodak easy share and I assume that's what made them smaller. I know my camera has software to deal with the sizing but I just downloaded it last night and haven't had time to play around with it.
Thanks so much for the comment.
