Lol.
That drum is actually bright pink. Thus the B/W version.
The drum used to contain oil for various machines where my bro-in-law works.
The other half of the barrel was buried as a burn pit, while he uses this half for a table!

Thanks Terry.
I am going to try to capture some of the different season shots of some of these areas that get the most feedback.
Should make for an interesting project!

Very nice.
Looks like it was a bit windy that day.
Great exposure and details on this.
I like the composition but the green light is a bit distracting to me .

The look of wonder and amazement on a kid's face is awesome.
Excellent capture of this.
At least its not yet another picture of an elephant!

Very nice series.
Wonderful thoughts and exposure went into these.
This one is my favorite as you can see that nature is slowly eating away at man's creation!

After the B/W treatment on the other, I realized that this is the format the lends itself well to these machines!

I like the inclusion of the people.
Until you see them, the enormity of the pyramid is not understood!

Stunning DOF.
The expression on her face evokes much thought in me.
Where is she looking, at the camera, or next to it?
Very well executed.

Thanks Paul.
this is the second area that I am aware of where they are making "progress" by tearing out the foothills and putting in multi-million dollar homes.
Saddest part of the whole ordeal to me, is the wildlife.
Heck last week they (local police) shot some elk because they were in town. Well damn, if we hadn't taken over their area, this wouldn't be a problem!

Wonderful shot.
Sad to hear that the UV now has a spot on it but that is why we use them. I would much rather lose the filter than the lens!
