You couldn't have asked for a better 'mistake'. It really sets off the subject in an interesting way. Cold... lonely... separate.

Don't you love when that happens? I believe that beauty reveals its self to us. I always feel incredibly lucky when I take a good shot because, for some reason, this wonderful moment in time presented its self to me. You were certainly blessed here! Also took a look at your portfolio...all wonderful work. Noticed you are from Minneapolis...I am from near La Cross, Wis.

Again...great work.

Gee, this is great, Elizabeth. The thing that makes it for me is the guy in the middle ground with his legs spread. There's so much testosterone in his body language that, combined with the lighting and the other figures and the graffitti and the title really generates energy and mood. A super shot and i can't understand why you have only a five in Overall. This is a great shot! Best regards: kat~

i agree with Arthur, whenever you have a wonderful serendipitous gift from the gods, aka, a cool mistake, simply say to yourself "thank you, oh ye gods of photography" and march forward with that image as if you were the brilliant photographer you seem. And the reason is that you ARE the brilliant photographer you seem because you knew enough to recognize the artistry of the image. If you capture a bird in flight, would you say, "i made a mistake of clicking the shutter just as the bird dove into the ocean?" hahaha...'course not! Same here. This came from your work, your efforts, even if not totally from your technical control of conditions. But you knew art when you saw it and so does the editor...congrats on your Editor's choice, very very well deserved! i love it!!! best regards: kat~

Really nice expression... I like the smile a lot. I also like the way you put the hands in the frame...very nice. It could be a bit darker around the face and hands to bring out a bit more detail, in my opinion. Have you tried printing it a bit darker? I'd love to see...Good job.
