I like the detail - I find it just a little too analyticl for me - that is - I would like to see it se in something natural

Jeff - I like your ideas - however I look at this image in the context of all of my images of this place and this tree in particular - in a larger image I think there might be enough detail in the cloud to support it being there - I might crop off some but my initial feeling is that croping it all the way to the tree makes it almost too perfect a composition - the sky (for me) creates visual tension as there is almost too much of it. It is that tension in the peace of the moment I felt. I'd like to say I realized what I was doing at the time but it is only after y6our comment, this came to me. Each time I go to this place, I want to have different visions to see through. I appreciate you taking the time to present yours.

It's difficult to match a frame with a photo - and you have done it perfectly - the photo is beautifully crafted - whatever you did, it all turned out well

I don't think the toning of an image and creating reflections holds up well in the long run - makes for a nice screen presentation but I believe finding the light the natural way is what lasts. It's pretty but I want to see the magic of light that comes from the places found and the wilingness to go out in the early hours. Your eye knows what it wants to see - it is outside, and it is magic.

What I see here is that the clouds aren't very colorful - you might want to look at stopping down or increasing the shutter speed to decrease the exposure and thus increase the saturation of the colors - you can also bring in to Photoshop, duplicating the layer and blending with muliply which will be the same as decreasing the exposure

I think ther light on the image is a little too strong - the flowers are a little too harsh against the background - I might also clone out the small leaf on the right and crop some of the back ground out. I have attached something to demonstrate my suggestions. I think toning down and croping provides more texture and detail to the image

This needs something in the foreground or the foreground cropped to frame the mountain - there is also considerable light falloff in the corners - it's a glorious moutnain - a little adjustments could do wonders
