Sorry to have taken so long to answer Doyle. Things here have not been good, as you can imagine. We should be living there now but it seems we may be stuck here for some time yet.
We are though having a weeks holiday there and going to our granddaughters wedding next week, it's going to be hard coming back!

Regards,
Meg.

Thank you Onie.... Sorry I've not written...I've not been good company of late.
We are going to our granddaughters wedding in Spain this week but will only be away a week as we feel we have to be here just in case....
Our dream of buying and being settled in a new home by Christmas is fast fading away and as most things are packed in boxes it will be rather miserable if we are still here!

I hope by now that your move has gone ahead smoothly, do let me know.

Love and hugs to you both.
Meg.

Thanks John....
WE should have been living in Spain now....instead we are just going for a weeks holiday and to our grandaughters wedding. I shall of course hate having to go home again as it no longer feels like home!

Thank you so much for your kind words Sylvia. I'm sure it will all work out in the end, it's just that at the moment we can't see light at the end of the tunnel!

Sorry to have been so long in answering Beks....as you can imagin I haven't been much in the mood for writing to anyone.

We should have been living in Spain now and it's our grandaughters wedding there on Saturday....we are going for the week even though it will be soooooo hard to have to return home.

Hope all is well with you.
Hugs, Meg.

You've captured the feel of the feria and the heat of the sun in this Tony, a very nice portrait!

As you know we had been planning to be living in Spain by now but our house is now back on the market.
It is our grandaughts wedding at Alhaurin el Golf on Saturday...so we are going to be there! It is going to be so very hard though once it's over having to leave again to go back to England.

Another very artistic piece Shirley, I love the movement you captured in this.

We have not sold our house yet but we are going to Spain this next week for our grandaughters wedding there....it will be so very hard to have to return home!

The ultimate accolade….my husband says this is good, and believe me… he doesn’t say that very often! :-)
As for me well….I think it’s a quite stunning and dramatic image. I very much like the dark effect, it fits the scene perfectly!

Thank you so much for that Jan...
This all happened last Thursday and I admit I cried all day Friday.
It was only today when I received your comment on another image that I realized I had told nobody here, I had posted that note on another site that I'm a member of so thought it best to cut and paste it into here.

The support from my on-line friends has been quite humbling, knowing they are thinking and praying for a good outcome for us has been an immense help.

As you have realized, I am no wimp myself and will pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over...all be it much later than we planned.
I am now over upset and have now gone into the VERY mad stage...
I shall in the absence of any legal retribution write the sniveling coward a letter setting out just what a low life we conceder him to be.
It won't refund our money or put our plans back on track, but by God it will make us feel a lot better!

Love the notes and I would have liked to see this happentoo, maybe he wanted a picture of your lens...sort of something to aim for so to speak. ;)

I won't be seeing you any time soon, read these notes for the reason why.

Oh I so empathise with that Onie. I have been going to write you too but things have been a little manic around here for a while!
Today we got the letter from the solicitor to say the contract for the sale of our house is ready to sign…..he and it my be ready, but I’m at the stage where I don’t know which way is up. ~~Grin~~

Hope you are settled in by now, will catch you later. :-)

Hugs...Meg.

Quite suprizing to read this is a night shot, having read the comments and taken a closer view it becomes clearer.

I really like the effect, the backlighting makes this shot. I also like the gentle shadows cast on this side of the wall, they add interest and life to this wonderful illusion shot. Well done!

I don't even have a desk anymore and my computer is sat on top of plastic boxes. :-))
