the mist and the lighting create a nice mood Ray,but i'd prefer either a closer framing of the road and the cartrails or a wider view without cropping the lights ;-)

kostas

I really like the water by the leaves. It almost has a liquid nitrogen feel to it. Excellent work!

Hi Ray,
This is a strong composition but the picture seems a little grainy. Maybe darkening it slightly would have made it an even stronger photo. Good work nonetheless.
Kind regards, Chris
P.S. If you're interested in railyway shots, (as I am), you may like to check out this one ~ it's not got a train in it, but it shows what an old English branch line would have looked like: http://www.usefilm.com/image/405715.html

Great idea. Good color. I found myself wishing the shell took up about twice as much of the frame as it does.

Good composition and excellent location for some slow shutter work, Ray.

Very often, foresty pictures tend towards the blue colour range especially when you're using a polariser. This can be "corrected" with a light warming filter, e.g. 81B.

The shutter speed can be reduced further to smooth out the water by using a neutral density filter (and small aperture).

For maximum depth of field, you could adjust the focusing ring to hyperfoccal settings.

best of luck.
