I can see the appeal in this scene, but I think the photo cluttered with too many elements. I've tended to do this in the past as well, and I'm learning that more simple images are more powerful.

I think it's just beautiful. I love the focus/dpeth of field. It works so well! I wonder, though, if cropping some off the top would make it better.

I borrowed a friend's Nikon, and don't know the details on it. It was the first roll of film I used in a manual camera. I was really happy with the results. Wish I could tell you more about the equipment.
My usual camera is a Pentax, but it's broken right now, and I won't have it for a while. I'll probably buy a new Pentax body real soon. Being without a camera is no fun!

I love this photo! I know that it must have been difficult to photograph because I have a very dark-faced Boston Terrier, and haven't been able to capture his "essence" very well. What did you use for light?
